Powder Coating & Rust Removal

Strip it, treat it, coat it — back to better-than-new. Automotive parts, motorcycle frames, outdoor furniture, tools, and one-off custom work. Color matched, oven-cured, and tough enough to outlast whatever ate it last time.

Why Powder Coat Beats Paint

Liquid paint chips, fades, and scratches. Powder coating is electrostatically applied, then oven-cured into a finish that's harder, thicker, more uniform, and more impact-resistant than any spray-on alternative. It's also more environmentally friendly — no solvents, no overspray drift, no VOCs.

Tougher Finish

Multiple times more impact and chip resistance than wet paint. Real-world durability you'll feel the first time something falls onto a powder-coated surface.

Uniform Coverage

Electrostatic application wraps complex shapes evenly — no thin spots in corners, no pooling in low areas.

Color & Texture Range

Solid colors, metallics, candies, textured finishes, satin, gloss, matte. From OEM-matched colors to custom finishes nobody else has.

UV & Chemical Resistant

Outdoor-rated finishes that don't fade in the sun or break down from cleaning chemicals. Built for things that actually live outside.

Rust Removal & Surface Prep

Powder coat is only as good as what's under it. Skip the prep and the finish lifts in months. We do prep right — mechanical or chemical rust removal as appropriate, profile cleanup, and a clean surface ready for primer. For severely rusted parts, we can also do full media-blast restoration.

Typical Jobs

  • Automotive parts — wheels, brackets, suspension components
  • Motorcycle frames, swing arms, and small parts
  • Outdoor furniture restoration
  • Tools and toolboxes
  • Architectural metal — railings, fixtures, brackets
  • Custom builds — one-off finished metalwork

What We Don't Do

  • Whole-vehicle bodywork (we do parts, not whole cars)
  • Aluminum that's been deeply oxidized beyond cosmetic recovery
  • Anything with structural rust that should be welded first — though we can do that in-house too

How It Works

Drop Off & Color Pick

Bring the parts in, pick a color from samples or specify a custom match. We'll let you know if anything needs welding or repair before coating.

Strip & Prep

Existing finish removed, rust addressed, surface profiled. This step is what separates a coat that lasts ten years from one that lasts ten months.

Coat & Cure

Powder applied electrostatically, then oven-cured. The cure is what gives powder coat its hardness — and it's why we don't take shortcuts on it.

Inspect & Pickup

You see the parts before they leave. If something's off, we redo it. Period.

This Isn't a Job — It's Our Passion

The favorite part of powder coating is the before-and-after. A rusted, neglected part comes in looking like garbage, and leaves looking better than it did the day it was made. There's a real satisfaction in saving things instead of replacing them.

Don't toss it. Upgrade it.

Common Questions

How long does powder coat last?

On properly prepped steel, indoor parts can last 20+ years looking new. Outdoor UV-exposed parts depend on the color and finish — we'll recommend the right one for the job.

Can you match a specific color?

Most factory and custom colors can be matched or sourced. Bring a sample and we'll work from there.

Can you weld first, then coat?

Absolutely — that's a common workflow. We do welding in-house, so the part doesn't have to leave the shop.

What about wheels?

Wheels are a popular powder coat job. We strip, prep, and coat — tires off, of course.

Got something rusty or ugly?

Send a photo and we'll tell you what it'll take to make it look new again.
